About

Click Edit Repeat is an independent photography site about making photographs, the equipment and techniques behind them, and the things we discover along the way.

Photography is a broad subject, and that’s part of the appeal. Here you’ll find practical tutorials, experiments, articles about cameras and lenses, film photography, scanning and editing, as well as the occasional opinion piece or book review.

Some articles are intended to answer a specific question or explain how something works. Others are simply an excuse to investigate something we find interesting, for example, a fifty-year-old camera, a vintage lens, an unusual photographic technique or a better way of doing something we’ve done dozens of times before.

The Projects section is where the results of some of those experiments live. These aren’t intended to be a collection of commercial or professional work, but a record of photographic ideas, challenges and ongoing projects.

Click Edit Repeat is currently written and photographed primarily by me, Kris Andrews, but the site is intended to be more than a personal photography blog. In time I’d like it to become a small independent publication with contributions from other photographers and enthusiasts who have something interesting to share. Please feel free to reach out through the Contact page if you would like to get involved.

The name comes from a simple description of our journey in photography: click, edit, repeat. Take a photograph, see what you can learn from it, try something different, and do it again.

Once content is available I will link the official Instagram and Youtube accounts here.
