Hi my name is Kristian, I’m an amateur photographer from the UK who had been taking photos since the 1980’s.
I’m starting this photography website just as something fun to do, not a business, not paid for by anyone (except me), just my little corner of the internet to share what I want.
I’m planning to share photo projects, techniques and tutorials with anyone who is interested, so welcome to my new website!
I’m out taking photos almost everyday and have taken 10s of thousands of shots in total, learning a lot along the way. My main photography interests are portraits, street, still life, astrophotography, and minimalist photos but I’m up for trying almost anything.
To keep me out and shooting I take part in the 52frames challenge, submitting a shot each week on a theme that they give, worth a look if you want some projects to push you. I’m currently on week 246, so more than 4 years of submitting a photo every week.
My plans for the site include the following:
- Sharing my photo projects
- Tutorials to help you get started with photography/editing/film/scanning
- Reviews/how to’s for interesting film and digital cameras/lenses
- Repairing/restoring film cameras and lenses
- What ever else takes my fancy
I’m also planning to start making some YouTube videos on the same topics that I discuss here, so stay tuned for that!
